Lakeview Juniors Are 2-1 So Far in B-5 Area Tournament

The Lakeview Bank of the Valley Juniors are 2-1 so far in the B-5 area tournament at Central City. 

Lakeview romped over Milford 19-0 in two innings on Friday, then shut out O’Neill 8-0 in six innings on Saturday.  But, on Sunday second-seeded Lakeview was spanked by top-seeded Central City/Fullerton 16-2 in five frames.  The host team’s Juniors have outscored its three tourney opponents 48-2 to advance to the championship. 

Lakeview faces O’Neill tonight with the winner moving on to Tuesday’s championship round, needing to defeat Central City/Fullerton twice.
