Lakeview Junior Reds League Tourney Game Suspended

The Owens Wealth Advisors Lakeview Junior Reds seemed to be on their way to a win last night when their league tournament game was suspended by rain and lightning. The Junior Reds led Wisner-Pilger/Dodge-Howells 5-1 with the visitors batting in the top of the fifth at Pawnee Park Field when the game was suspended.
That means changes for tonight’s schedule. The Lakeview Juniors game will resume at 5 p.m. Lakeview will not charge admission for the conclusion of the contest. Two Seniors tourney games will follow: Pender meets Hooper-Scribner, with the Bank of the Valley Lakeview Seniors taking on West Point in the nightcap.
In last night’s first Juniors quarterfinal at Pawnee Park Field, Arlington edged Pender 5-4.
