Lakeview Girls’ Defense Corrals Bison

The Lakeview girls basketball club capped its regular season with a 36-12 home victory over Central City last night.
Aside from the Vikings’ two wins over Schuyler this season, last night marked the lowest point total of the year for a Lakeview opponent. The Vikings compiled 21 steals, five by Katee Korte who also grabbed a team-high eight rebounds and tied Haley Frenzen with a team-best nine points. Frenzen also had five steals.
The Lady Vikes finished the regular season with a 13-9 record.
