Lakeview Enters One Top 10, Scotus Drops Out of Both

Lakeview’s football team has entered the Class C-1 ratings in one of the state’s two biggest newspapers, while Scotus has dropped out of both Top 10’s. 

Following their 62-0 victory at Boys Town last Friday, the Vikings are ranked number 10 by the Journal Star.  After dropping a 40-0 decision at top-ranked Wahoo in their opener, the Shamrocks have slipped from number 9 to being listed as one of six contenders in the Lincoln newspaper’s rankings. Scotus also tumbled out of the Omaha World-Herald ratings after being ranked number 6 entering the season.

Lakeview’s opponent this Friday in the Vikings’ home opener is Pierce.  On the heels of their season-opening 55-38 win at St. Paul, the Bluejays are ranked number 2 by the Journal Star and fourth in the World-Herald.
