Lakeview Boys Win, Girls Lose, CRC Champs Crowned

The Lakeview boys basketball team snapped an eight-game skid with a 53-35 victory over Lexington on Saturday. 

The win at Aurora in a consolation contest of the Central Conference tournament upped the Vikings record to 3-15. 

Meantime, the Lakeview girls were downed by Adams Central 51-29 at Aurora.  The loss dropped the Vikings girls to 9-9. 

Also on Saturday, the Crossroads Conference tournament championship games were played. 

Osceola sophomore Isaiah Zelasney scored 35 points to lead the Bulldogs to a 52-47 win over BDS.  And the Cross County girls won the conference crown with a 40-27 victory over Meridian.
