Lady Vikes Cruise, Vikings Boys Stumble

The Lakeview girls won their opening game in the Central Conference basketball tournament last night, while the Vikings boys lost. 

The Lady Vikes, who had routed Schuyler 50-10 last Friday, humbled the Warriors 59-5 last night. Lakeview improved to 6-10, while the Warriors fell to 0-14.  Lakeview will visit Grand Island Northwest in the girls quarterfinals tonight.

On the boys side, the Vikings were beaten by York 68-51. Lakeview’s record is now 5-11. Schuyler was edged at Holdrege 50-47 in overtime. The Warriors slipped to 5-9.
