Kudron, Bell Earn CHS Awards from KLIR Prep Club

Addie Kudron and Tadan Bell are the Columbus High winners of the 37th annual KLIR Prep Club Awards. 

Kudron starred in three sports: softball, basketball and soccer.  In softball, Kudron finished her senior season with a .352 batting average, one home run and 30 RBI.  In basketball, she led the Discoverers in scoring, averaging 7.4 points per game.  Kudron plans to attend Central Community College and will play softball for the Raiders. 

Bell is currently playing his final season of baseball for CHS, before taking his pitching skills to Coastal Carolina.  So far this season, he owns a 2.52 ERA and has racked up 51 strikeouts in 33.1 innings.  He’s hitting .483 with one homer, 12 RBI and 17 runs in 22 games.  In basketball last season, he averaged better than six points per game. 

Kudron and Bell will each receive a $500 scholarship and a plaque from KLIR 101.
