Kubik Named Big Ten Volleyball Player of the Week

Nebraska volleyball’s Madi Kubik has earned her second straight Big Ten Player of the Week award. 

Kubik averaged a team-leading 5.83 kills while hitting .378 for the week as the Huskers swept Indiana and Illinois. 

Meanwhile, Creighton’s Norah Sis was named Big East Freshman of the Week yesterday for the second straight week and third time this season.  Sis averaged 4.75 kills and 3.88 digs per set in a pair of road matches that the Bluejays split last weekend. 

In Monday’s AVCA rankings, NU stayed at number 9, while CU fell five spots to 24th.
