Korver Reportedly Retires, Joins Brooklyn’s Coaching Staff
Former Creighton basketball star and NBA veteran Kyle Korver has reportedly ended his playing days to join the Brooklyn Nets as a player development coach. The move was first reported by The Athletic.
Korver was one of the top 3-point shooters in NBA history, ranking fourth with 2,450 3-pointers made during his 17-year career. He had a 42.9 percent career mark from beyond the arc. Korver made one All-Star game in 2015 with Atlanta.
He was a second-team All-American as a Creighton senior in 2003.
