Kluver Rallies to Win Nebraska Match Play Title

Luke Kluver rallied to win the 53rd Nebraska Match Play Championship last Friday. 

The Norfolk High grad, who’ll be a sophomore at Kansas this fall, trailed Elkhorn’s Ryan Nietfeldt by three strokes after the final day’s first 18 holes. 

But Kluver was 6-under par over the final 14 holes at Lincoln’s Hillcrest Country Club for the 5-and-4 win. 

It was the 20-year old’s first Nebraska Golf Association state title.
