Kingston Hired to Become Jays Baseball’s Next Head Coach

Mark Kingston has been hired as Creighton baseball’s associate head coach for next season and will become the Bluejays 11th head coach after the 2025 campaign.

Kingston comes to CU with 15 years of head coaching experience.  He spent the last seven seasons at South Carolina, before he was fired two weeks ago.  He led the Gamecocks to four NCAA tournaments and a 37-25 record this season, including 1-2 in the regionals.

Kingston was also a head coach at South Florida and Illinois State, posting a career record of 490-335-1.

Jays head coach Ed Servais announced last month he’ll retire after next season.
