Kickoff Times Set for Several Nebraska Football Games

The Big Ten Conference announced kickoff times and television information Thursday for several Nebraska football games this season.

The Huskers will open the season on Saturday, Aug. 31 against UTEP at Memorial Stadium with a 2:30 p.m. kickoff on FOX. NU’s home game on Sept. 14 against Northern Iowa will have a 6:30 p.m. kickoff and will be televised on BTN. Nebraska’s game at Purdue on Sept. 28 will kick off at 11 a.m. with television TBD.

The Huskers’ Sept. 7 home game against Colorado had already been set for 6:30 p.m. on NBC and their Friday Sept. 20 home contest vs. Illinois was previously announced as a 7 p.m. start on FOX. NU’s annual Black Friday matchup against Iowa on Friday, Nov. 29 will kick off at 6:30 p.m. in Iowa City on NBC.
