Kernels Knock Off Norris in State Baseball Tourney

Central City/Fullerton/Centura stayed alive today in the Class B state baseball tournament by ousting top-seeded Norris 7-4 at Tal Anderson Field.
The fourth-seeded Kernels are 1-1 in the state tourney and 21-3 overall.
They advanced to tomorrow’s 3 p.m. quarterfinal at Millard North against the loser of tonight’s game between No. 3 seed Elkhorn North and seventh-seeded Elkhorn.
