Kalkbrenner Named to Watch List for Naismith Trophy

Creighton center Ryan Kalkbrenner has been named to the watch list for the Naismith Trophy Men’s Player of the Year honor.
The Bluejays junior is among 50 players on the list. Kalkbrenner averaged 13.1 points and 7.7 rebounds per game last season when he was Honorable Mention All-Big East.
He was also named the league’s defensive player of the year after averaging 2.6 blocked shots per game.
