Junior Blues Go 1-3 in Tourney at Bellevue East

The Columbus United Federal Credit Union Junior Blues went 1-3 in a tournament at Bellevue East over the weekend. 

On Friday, the Junior Blues fell to Omaha Central 10-1, then beat the host team 4-2.  On Saturday, Elkhorn South broke open a close game by exploding for 10 runs in the top of the sixth to down Columbus 16-5.  On Sunday, the Junior Blues were outslugged by Burke 13-8. 

The Blues are 6-10.  They’ll entertain Grand Island Five Points Bank tomorrow evening in a doubleheader.
