Johnson, Kamrath Going Into Nebraska Prep HOF

Two former coaches from the area are among five coaches in the 2022 Class for the Nebraska High School Sports Hall of Fame.
Football coach Arnie Johnson of Albion and wrestling coach Gaylen Kamrath of David City will be inducted. Johnson led the Cardinals to a pair of state football titles in his 35-year career. Kamrath led his wrestling squads to four state crowns.
The induction ceremony will be held September 25th at Lincoln East High.
