Johnny Rodgers in ICU With COVID-19, Pneumonia

Nebraska football great Johnny Rodgers is in an Omaha hospital intensive care unit with COVID-19 and other complications, according to media reports.
Business partner Denny Drake told the Omaha World-Herald the 70-year old Rodgers has been hospitalized since Thanksgiving with COVID-19 and pneumonia. Drake said Rodgers has improved and is feeling much better.
The 1972 Heisman Trophy winner said in a text message to KETV NewsWatch 7 that he should be home in about a week. Drake said he wasn’t sure of Rodgers’ vaccination status.
