Jazz Sweet Cited on Suspicion of DUI

Nebraska volleyball player Jazz Sweet has reportedly been cited on suspicion of DUI.  According to multiple media reports, Sweet may also have been involved in a traffic accident that Lincoln police are investigating as a hit-and-run. 

Sweet was stopped by police around 3 a.m. Sunday as she was backing her car the wrong way on a one-way street.  Police recorded a .266 blood alcohol reading from her and officers noticed damage to her car. 

Police suspect Sweet’s car sideswiped another car and hit a rolling dumpster.  The 21-year old NU senior was initially cited only on suspicion of DUI.
