Jays Women in Sweet 16 After Upset of 2-Seed Iowa

Iowa transfer Lauren Jensen helped the Creighton women clinch its first trip to the Sweet 16 with a 64-62 upset win over the Hawkeyes yesterday in Iowa City.
Jensen scored nine of the Bluejays’ 13 points in the fourth quarter, including a three-pointer with 12.6 seconds left.
With the win, Creighton is 22-9 and advanced to Friday’s Regional Semifinal against Iowa State in Greensboro, North Carolina.
