Jays Shaded at Kansas, NU Home Tonight Before Facing CU

In men’s college hoops, number 8 Creighton was edged 73-72 at fifth-ranked Kansas. 

Jalen Wilson nailed a tie-breaking 3-pointer with 42 seconds left.  Down three with 1.1 seconds left, the Bluejays had a chance to tie it but Marcus Zegarowski missed his final free throw after being fouled on a 3-point attempt.  The rebound was batted out of bounds as time expired and KU escaped with the win. 

CU is now 3-1.  The Jays welcome Nebraska to CHI Health Center Omaha on Friday at 6 p.m. The pre-game starts at 5 on KJSK.  

Before the Huskers visit Creighton they host Georgia Tech this evening in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. 

Nebraska brings a 3-1 record into the game, while the Yellow Jackets are 1-2.  Tipoff is set for 6:15 p.m. with pre-game coverage on KJSK starting an hour earlier.
