Jays’ Roden Earns Player of the Week Honor

Creighton outfielder Alan Roden claimed his first Big East Player of the Week honor yesterday.
The Bluejays freshman went 5-for-7 with a pair of home runs and five RBI as CU swept a doubleheader at Butler on Saturday. He also collected a pair of walks and two stolen bases.
Sunday’s scheduled twinbill in Indianapolis was rained out.
