Jays Leadoff Batter Earns Big East Weekly Honor

In college baseball, Creighton’s David Webel has been named the Big East Player of the Week. 

The Bluejays newcomer and leadoff batter hit .562 in his first four games last weekend.  The junior outfielder had three doubles, three RBI and four runs as the Jays split a pair of games against Lipscomb and Belmont in Nashville.
