Jaguars, Patriots Look to Win State Football Titles Today

Howells-Dodge will try to win its second straight state football championship today, while Clarkson-Leigh is looking for its first title. Both games at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln will be aired on 93.5 The Hawk. 

The Jaguars, after winning the D1 crown last year, meet Hitchcock County in the D2 championship.  It’s a battle of two 12-0 teams and kickoff is set for 10:15 a.m. 

The D1 title contest pits Clarkson/Leigh against Neligh-Oakdale.  The Patriots and Warriors are both 11-1.  Kickoff is at 2:45 p.m.
