Ivy is Latest Named to NU’s 2020 Hall of Fame Class

Former Nebraska women’s basketball star Maurtice Ivy has been announced as the fourth member of NU’s 2020 class going into its Athletic Hall of Fame.
Ivy was the 1988 Big Eight Player of the Year. In her senior season that year, she led the Huskers to a pair of firsts: a conference championship and an NCAA Tournament appearance.
Ivy averaged 19.2 points per game in her Nebraska career. She was NU’s first 2,000-point scorer and was the first Husker to be a three-time all-conference selection.
The Omaha native became the second Nebraska player to have her jersey retired, when number 30 went to the rafters in 2011.
