Isaacs, Big East Player of the Week, to Miss Rest of Season

Creighton guard Pop Isaacs has been named Big East player of the week. 

Isaacs had 27 points in the Bluejays’ 76-63 victory over No. 1 Kansas last Wednesday.  He also recorded seven rebounds and four assists. 

On Saturday, it was announced that Isaacs will miss the rest of the season so he can undergo hip surgery.  He was averaging 16.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per game for the Jays. 

CU will visit No. 10 Alabama this Saturday night.
