The Nebraska football team’s bye week probably couldn’t have come at a better time for quarterback Adrian Martinez. He has reportedly been dealing with injuries for a few weeks now.
Coach Scott Frost admitted yesterday that some option plays and quarterback runs were not available for the Huskers’ game plan last Saturday against Minnesota.
But Frost also had some good news about Martinez. “He came out of the game clean,” Frost said. “So, he’s going to be as healthy as he has been in several weeks a week from Saturday.”
Nebraska will host Purdue next Saturday. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m.
