Incoming Husker Men’s Golfers Excelling on the Course

Incoming University of Nebraska golfer Evan McDermott earned a spot in the 2022 U.S. Junior Amateur following a runner-up finish yesterday at a qualifying tournament in Michigan. 

McDermott, a senior at Spring Lake High School, also tied for second at the Michigan Division 2 state championship last weekend.

Harry Crockett, also part of the Huskers’ six-player incoming class, recently helped Hutchinson Community College to its second straight NJCAA Division I Championship.  He earned NJCAA All-America honors for the second consecutive season with his 14th-place finish.
