Inclement Weather Affecting Some Area Games
Today’s blizzard conditions are wreaking havoc on some area team’s schedules.
Columbus High has postponed its girls basketball game at Lincoln East, and the swimming team’s triangular at Omaha Burke has been canceled.
Meanwhile, the Scotus basketball games at Lincoln Christian have been postponed, as has the Syracuse wrestling invitational where the Shamrocks had been set to compete. The basketball contests will be made up tomorrow, while the wrestling has been rescheduled for next Monday.
As of now, Lakeview’s home basketball games against Centennial tonight are still on, starting with the girls contest at 6:15.
The girls and boys games between St. Francis and Clarkson/Leigh in Leigh that were to have been aired on 93.5 The Hawk have been postponed. And early this afternoon, East Butler’s twinbill at Heartland tonight on KZ-100 was also postponed and both teams were still deciding if it can be made up.
A couple programming reminders for tomorrow: the Pinnacle Bank Coaches Show is on KLIR 101 starting at 9 a.m. And Lakeview entertains Aquinas in a pair of games Saturday on The Hawk, beginning with the girls tilt at 5:15 p.m.
