Ice Jam Causes Flood Advisory For North Central Dodge County

SCRIBNER- Dodge County Emergency Management and the National Weather Service are warning residents of a Flood Advisory for an ice jam in north central Dodge County.

The advisory is in effect until 10:15 p.m. Thursday. Emergency management reported at least one, but perhaps two separate ice jams from County Road F near Scribner and upstream to near the Dodge-Cuming County line. Minor flooding was reported on County Road C. While flooding is not eminent for Highway 275,  further rises could result in officials closing the road.

Some locations that may experience flooding include rural Scribner, Powder Horn State Wildlife Management Area, Dead Timber State Recreation Area, and County Road C.
