Iburg, Mustard Named CCH/PPT Athletes of the Year

Columbus Community Hospital and Premier Physical Therapy have selected Rylee Iburg of Columbus High and Grace Mustard of Scotus as their 2022 Athletes of the Year. 

As a senior, Iburg finished third at the state wrestling meet.  In football, he compiled over 700 yards rushing and receiving and scored five touchdowns for the Discoverers last fall. 

Mustard starred for the Shamrocks in track,volleyball and basketball.  She holds the school record in the 100-meter hurdles and was a three-time qualifier for the state track meet.  Mustard also earned all-conference honors in volleyball and led the Scotus girls basketball team in scoring. 

Both athletes are receiving $1,000 scholarships from the hospital.  Iburg will wrestle for Nebraska Wesleyan, while Mustard will compete in track at UNO.
