Nebraska freshman wrestler Ridge Lovett has received national recognition.  Lovett was named to the Amateur Wrestling News magazine’s All-Rookie team for last season.

Lovett burned his redshirt against Northern Iowa on November 24th and went on to compile a 17-8 regular season record for the Huskers.  He finished the season with a last-second takedown of Michigan’s Joey Silva at the Big Ten Championships.

Last month, Lovett was named Honorable Mention All-America by wrestling coaches.
