Huskers Win Saturday, But Baseball Season Ends

Nebraska’s baseball club beat Michigan State 10-9 Saturday at Haymarket Park.
However, to make this week’s Big Ten tournament in Omaha, the Huskers also needed Maryland to complete a sweep by winning Saturday at Purdue. That game was rained out, so the Boilermakers edged the Huskers for the final spot in the conference tourney.
NU ended the season at 23-30, going 10-14 in the Big Ten.
