Huskers Win, Jays Suffer Loss and Cancellation

In college baseball, Nebraska cruised to an 8-1 victory over Northern Colorado yesterday at Haymarket Park. 

The Huskers improved to 7-8 following their sixth win in their last seven games. NU opens a four-game series at Wichita State tomorrow afternoon. 

Creighton was edged 5-4 at Minnesota. The Bluejays have lost six of seven to drop to 5-10.

CU today cancelled the two-game home set for Friday and Sunday that had just been added to the Bluejays schedule yesterday.
