Huskers Win in OT at Minnesota, Host Illinois Tuesday

Derrick Walker tied his career-high with 22 points as Nebraska got by Minnesota 81-79 in overtime Saturday.
Walker also dished out a career-best seven assists and grabbed eight rebounds to help the Huskers improve to 9-7 overall, 2-3 in the Big Ten. The victory snapped a six-game streak of overtime losses and marked NU’s first OT road win in conference play since 2001.
The Huskers host Illinois tomorrow night. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. The pregame begins at 7 on News Talk 900 KJSK.
