Huskers Soccer Squad Cruises in Exhibition Opener

The Nebraska soccer team opened its exhibition season in Lincoln last night with a 5-1 win over Kansas City. 

The Huskers attacked early, scoring twice in the opening 10 minutes.  Abbey Schwarz found the back of the net in the eighth minute and Florence Belzile scored a minute later.  Sarah Weber, who had assists on the first two goals, scored an unassisted goal herself to finish with four points. 

NU travels to Oklahoma on Friday night for another exhibition match.
