Huskers Prochazka, Gradney Suffer Season-Ending Knee Injuries

Nebraska offensive lineman Teddy Prochazka has suffered a season-ending knee injury for the third time in four years.

Huskers head coach Matt Rhule announced yesterday that Prochazka tore the ACL in his right knee Monday during a one-on-one drill.  Prochazka played in 10 games last season, starting the last five at left tackle.

Rhule said he trusts other options Turner Corcoran and Gunnar Gottula.  “We’ll play with Turner,” Rhule said.  “He started lots of games last year before he got hurt.  We have other options, Gunnar Gottula is running with the ones right now.  We have guys that we believe in so we’ll play them.”

Rhule also said defensive back Roger Gradney tore his ACL and is out for the season.  The freshman was a four-star prospect who was regarded as one of the top 35 safeties in the nation in his recruiting class.
