Huskers Lose, Still Have Path to Big Ten Baseball Tourney

Nebraska baseball’s hopes for a spot in next week’s Big Ten Tournament were dimmed, but not extinguished last night.  The Huskers suffered a 4-1 loss to Michigan State at Haymarket Park.

To make the conference tourney, the Huskers must win the next two games against the Spartans and need Maryland to complete a sweep of Purdue.  The Terrapins topped the Boilermakers 14-7 last night.

First pitch in Lincoln tonight is set for 6:35 p.m.  The pregame starts at 6 on News Talk 900 KJSK.
