Huskers Game in Big Ten Baseball Tourney Now Set for 8 p.m.

Nebraska’s baseball game against Ohio State today has been pushed back another three hours.

The Huskers will now meet the Buckeyes at 8 p.m. on the opening day of the Big Ten baseball tournament in Omaha.  The game was originally set to begin at 2 p.m., but due to the stormy weather it was moved to 5 p.m., before an announcement late this morning that the contest is now slated for an 8 p.m. first pitch.

The pregame is now planned to start at 7:30, following a 90-minute version of Sports Nightly beginning at 6 p.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK.

The first game of the tourney at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, pitting Indiana against Purdue, has also seen a six-hour delay in its first pitch, now currently scheduled for 4 p.m.
