Huskers’ Football Game at Rutgers Now Friday, Oct. 7

Nebraska’s football team will now visit Rutgers on Friday, October 7th.
The matchup was originally scheduled for Saturday, October 8th. But, the move was announced today as the Big Ten and its television partners designated weeknight games for 2022. The kickoff time and television information for the contest will be determined this spring.
The Huskers also played on a Friday night at Rutgers in December of 2020, when the Big Red defeated the Scarlet Knights, 28-21.
