Huskers Fall to George Mason in Cayman Islands Classic

The Nebraska men’s basketball team fell to George Mason 85-66 in the semifinals of the Cayman Islands Classic last night. 

The Patriots shot 60 percent in the second half, including 7-of-12 from 3-point range to pull away for the win.

With the win, George Mason is 7-1 and advanced to tonight’s title game against New Mexico State.  The Huskers slipped to 3-3 with the loss and will play in the third-place game against South Florida today at 4 p.m.
