Cole Evans smacked two of Nebraska’s five home runs as the Huskers beat Northern Colorado 14-3 in seven innings yesterday at Haymarket Park.
The five homers were the most for NU since the Huskers also hit five in an 18-10 victory at Arizona State in 2020. Nebraska has now homered in 11 consecutive games, tying the 2004 team for the longest streak in program history.
The Huskers, who are now 7-4-1, host Illinois State for a three-game weekend series beginning tomorrow afternoon.
