Huskers, Bluejays To Play in Women’s NIT

The women’s basketball seasons will continue for both Nebraska and Creighton.  The Huskers and Bluejays received at-large bids last night to the WNIT tournament. 

The Huskers will face UT Martin in the eight-team Memphis Regional Friday at 11 a.m.  The Bluejays meet Bowling Green at Rockford, Illinois Friday at 2 p.m. 

The 32-team field also has regionals in Charlotte and Fort Worth.  The four regional champions will advance to the Memphis site, with the semifinals slated for March 26th and the championship set for March 28th.
