Huskers, Bluejays Set to Play in NCAA Volleyball Tourney

Nebraska and Creighton open play in the NCAA volleyball tournament this week in Omaha. 

The Huskers were selected yesterday as the number 5 overall seed for the tourney, while the Bluejays also made the 48-team field a day after winning the Big East tournament title. Creighton defeated Marquette 3-1 to win its sixth conference crown in the last seven years.

CU will take on Morehead State on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.

NU, making its 39th straight national tourney appearance, will play Thursday at 2:30 against the winner of Wednesday’s first-round match between Texas State and Utah Valley.
