Huskers, Bluejays Open Men’s Hoops Seasons Tonight

The Nebraska and Creighton men’s basketball teams will both open their seasons tonight. 

The Huskers host Western Illinois with tipoff set for 7 p.m. at Pinnacle Bank Arena.  NU went 2-0 in exhibition play, posting wins over Peru State and Colorado.  The Leathernecks were also 2-0 in exhibitions, beating Illinois-Springfield and Monmouth College. 

Meanwhile, Creighton welcomes Arkansas-Pine Bluff to CHI Health Center for a 7 p.m. game.  The Bluejays are 5-0 all-time against the Golden Lions, with those meetings decided by an average margin of more than 32 points.
