In college basketball on Saturday, the Nebraska men defeated South Dakota 83-70.  Keisei Tominaga scored a career-high 23 points, hitting five 3-pointers in 22 minutes off the bench.  The Huskers have won four straight games and are 5-2. 

NU will visit North Carolina State Wednesday.  Tipoff is set for 6:15 p.m. with the pregame starting at 5:15 on News Talk 900 KJSK. 

Meanwhile, the Creighton men rallied to beat SIU Edwardsville 70-65 on Saturday, upping the Bluejays’ record to 6-1.  The Nebraska women won a tournament in San Diego with a 64-56 victory over the host Toreros.  The Huskers have started the season 7-0 for the first time since 2014.  Creighton’s women are 3-2 after a 79-72 home win over Northern Iowa on Saturday.
