Huskers, Bluejays Both Fall in Volleyball Rankings

Nebraska and Creighton both dropped in this week’s volleyball Top 25. 

The Huskers slipped from second to third in the coaches’ poll, exchanging places with Louisville.  Texas remained No. 1.  Nebraska lost to Stanford, before rebounding to win at Kentucky last week. 

Creighton fell five spots to No. 22.  The Bluejays went 1-1 last weekend in Houston, beating Kansas State in four sets before falling to Rice in five sets. 

Meanwhile, Creighton’s Allison Whitten was named Big East Defensive Player of the Week.  She averaged 5.00 digs per set for the week.
