The Nebraska men’s basketball team is expected to sign five players today on college basketball’s signing day. All five players, who committed to the Huskers earlier, are transferring to NU from other schools.

The most familiar name in the group for Nebraska prep basketball fans is Teddy Allen. The former Boys Town star was the 2017 Nebraska Gatorade Player of the Year. He spent one season at West Virginia and last year Allen played for Western Nebraska Community College, where he was the nation’s top scorer at that level with better than 31 points per game.

The four other transfers signing with Nebraska are Lat Mayen of TCU, Kobe King who was at Wisconsin, Kobe Webster from Western Illinois and Trey McGowens from Pitt.
