Huskers Add FCS Punter of the Year, JUCO DB

Nebraska’s football team is adding the 2021 FCS punter of the year to its roster for 2022. 

Montana punter Brian Buschini, who just entered the transfer portal on Monday, announced today he’ll be a Husker next season.  Buschini averaged 46 yards per punt on 69 punts this past season.  He’ll have three seasons of eligibility remaining at NU. 

Also today, Nebraska landed JUCO defensive back DeShon Singleton.  The Hutchinson Community College DB is 6-foot-3.  He’s the 11th player overall and the first from the junior college ranks of the Huskers’ 2022 recruiting class.
