Husker Williams Earns More National Accolades
Nebraska’s Brice Williams earned more national honors on Tuesday.
He was selected as one of five Oscar Robertson National Players of the Week for the second time this month. Williams was also tabbed as the Lute Olson National Player of the Week. Earlier this week, he was chosen as the nation’s top player last week by Andy Katz on NCAA.com.
Williams averaged 28.5 points per game on 61 percent shooting along with 4.5 rebounds per game en route to MVP honors at the Diamond Head Classic.
The Huskers are 11-2 and host No. 15 UCLA Saturday. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. with the pregame starting at Noon on News Talk 900 KJSK. The game will also be televised on FOX.
