Husker Track and Field Athletes Earn All-America Honors

A pair of Nebraska female track and field athletes earned first-team All-America honors yesterday at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. 

In Eugene, Oregon Maddie Harris earned a silver medal with a second-place finish in the javelin.  Axelina Johansson earned the bronze medal in the shot put. 

On Wednesday, Husker Alex Talley took sixth in the men’s hammer throw with a school-record mark of 234-feet-8 inches and earned first-team All-America accolades.
